Only 37% of Americans believe what Trump says about coronavirus

The way President Donald Trump tackles the coronavirus pandemic is widely rejected in the United States. According to an unprecedented survey released on Wednesday (18), only 37% of Americans believe what the president says about the disease. 60% said they believe very little or nothing in what Trump says.
And 46% said the federal government has been doing enough to contain the spread of the virus. It is a decrease of 15 percentage points in relation to February, when 61% answered that the efforts were in accordance with the crisis. The survey was carried out by PBS.
Trump's response to the spread of the virus has been heavily criticized, including by Republican-based politicians. He even blamed the Democratic opposition for what he called hysteria.
The change of route only happened this week, when he had access to a study from Imperial College, London, which warned of the risk of 2 million Americans dying from the new coronavirus.
The US economic team showed that unemployment could reach 20% by December , the highest number since the Great Depression of the 1930s.\
