Get a piece of some 'cheap' Apple stock
Apple stock officially split Friday, cutting the stock price from a lofty $700 to $92.17 a share based on Wednesday's closing price. Monday will be the first day the stock will trade at the new, split-adjusted price. While Apple's stock price is being cut into a seventh of its previous value, investors will receive seven times more shares, leaving the value of the company the same.
