Israeli authorities arrested six Jewish suspectsSunday in connection with the murder of an Arab teen last week. Palestinians have insisted the attack was carried out by far-right-wing Israeli nationalists in revenge for the murders of three Israeli teens. Meanwhile, Mohammed's cousin, a 15-year-old Palestinian American who was injured during clashes with Israeli security forces last week, was sentenced to nine days of house arrest. Tariq Abu Khdeir, who lives in Florida but was visiting family in Israel, will remain at a home in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina. Report: Most NSA spying involved ordinary Americans
Ordinary Internet users far outnumber the legally targeted foreigners in the communications intercepted by the National Security Agency, according to a four-month investigation by The Washington Post. The Post detailed a review of about 160,000 intercepted e-mail and text message conversations involving 11,000 online accounts provided by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and found 90% of the information involves names and e-mail addresses of U.S. residents. While many of the interceptions provided valuable information, the Post also describes "useless" communications NSA retained that include "a startlingly intimate, even voyeuristic quality."

Ladies and gentlemen, Joan Rivers has left the building, er, interview. Rivers was on the Cable News Network Saturday promoting her new book, Diary of a Mad Diva.About two minutes in, anchor Fredricka Whitfield asked her if she intentionally wore fur on the book cover, knowing she'd anger animal rights activists. And then it started getting ugly. "Are you wearing leather shoes?" Rivers fired back. The interviewer confessed she was. "Then shut up," the veteran comedian retorted. She talked some more smack before ripping the internal feedback device out of her ear and walking off the set.
