Beach of England is "graveyard" of lego bricks
When shipwrecked in 1997, a ship of Tokio Express ended up leaving adrift at sea about 4.8 million Lego bricks.
And many of them are ending up in the same place: the coast of Cornwall, near the town of Perranporth, England. Interestingly, all the pieces are related to a nautical theme.
A survey could account for about 13 000 harpoons, dive equipment 97 500, 418 000 fins, 33 900 4200 black dragons and octopuses, among others.
Many residents have become collectors pieces and the rolls to a competition to see who is more rare objects. According to one of them, octopuses, and dragons are the most "valuable".
The Facebook page "Legos Lost At Sea" is always publishing new "findings". Look: https://www.facebook.com/LegoLostAtSea/timeline
Obviously, having all that plastic sailing the oceans is not cool - it's actually a serious threat to marine ecosystems.
