WHY HAVE AGE SPOTS...

Understand the process of formation of melanosis, better known as spot



You surely must have heard someone talk about "age spots".
 They are popularly so called because usually appear in people aged over .IN  fact, these spots are not caused by age but by sun damage over the years.
 As the result of the action of the sun will only appear over time, melanoses are more common in older people.
  name "senile spot". Want proof?
 It is easy to prove senile spot is actually a sunspot.
 Just look at the skin of the armpit area or the inside of the arms, which are protected from the sun, and see that, despite the "same age" that the skin affected by melanosis, there are not stains.
 The melanoses are dark brown coloration brown spots usually tiny but can reach a few centimeters in size. They appear only in areas that are very exposed to the sun such as the face, the back of the hands and arms, the neck and shoulders.
 Are more common in fair-skinned people. The sun damage accumulated over the years induces an increase in the number of melanocytes (pigment-producing cell that gives color appeal) and its activity, producing more melanin and skin darkening.
 Prevention and treatment Ideally prevent the onset of the spots, which must be done through the use of sun protection in areas continuously exposed to the sun, where the spots are manifested.

 The treatment can be done in several ways, such as chemical cauterization, cryosurgery, dermabrasion, chemical peels, and the use of intense pulsed light. The results tend to be good, since the technique is properly used.
