We can
Women still do not have a relationship of equality in the labor market, but this may change. And the gain is not just them, it's all of us.
You want to ask for a raise to the head, but feels embarrassed. In your business, there are many women working, but few reach the leading positions. For more women to be qualified (and sometimes super-qualified) to perform certain tasks, they have more difficulty reaching positions of prestige and professional recognition. The American Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's top executive, decided to talk about these issues - and many others - in his book, recently launched Make It Happen (Companhia das Letras). Sheryl was able to reach a position of great success and from there, observes her companions, partners and employees in an exhaustive fight to achieve their goals. She points out in his book, two different types of difficulties faced by them: on one side are squeezed by a structure of the labor market and society - the press to have children, it does not offer enough kindergartens, which does not promote egalitarian division of labor, among other things. On the other hand, it underestimates herself. And this can happen because of the education they received or by social values.
Is that right? Simple Life spoke with women from different areas with varied professional experiences, and found that, although the book Sheryl primarily refers to the United States, Brazilian live very similar problems. And to look with affection and care that can mean not only a gain for them, but for everyone.
