Democrats publish against remembrance of Russian interference

The Democratic congressmen on Saturday published their response to a controversial memorandum drafted by the Republicans in which they accused biased investigations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

In their memo, which surfaced earlier this month despite objections from the FBI and the DOJ, Republicans assured that the Democrats-funded investigation prompted the FBI to spy on Carter Page, former - Assistant to President Donald Trump.

Trump reacted on Twitter: "The Democratic memo's response to government surveillance abuses is a political and legal FIASCO, it simply confirms all the terrible things that have been done. 

"All this witch hunts is an illegal shame ... and Obama did nothing against Russia!" He added.

Deputy Republican spokesman Raj Shah called the memo a "political document" that is "fraught with uncorroborated accusations" and "does not respond to serious concerns" in the Republican text.

US intelligence concluded that Russia tried to influence the 2016 elections that brought Trump to the White House, but the president repeatedly denied any plot with Moscow.
