Journalist accuses Donald Trump in the 1990 rape

Columnist of Elle Magazine reveals in book I was raped by the President for 23 years in a cabin in Manhattan store; Trump denies

The writer and journalist e. Jean Carroll accuses American President to have her raped in the years 1990. Carroll appears in the cover story of the New Yorkmagazine, published on Friday, 21, with the headline, "this is what I was using for 23 years when Donald Trump attacked me with a box of evidence of Bergdorf Goodman "in a reference to the sophisticated department store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
President Trump denied the story and said he never met, although Carroll has published a picture of the two in one event. In the official statement from the White House, Trump accuses a writer trying to sell your new book and asks you to look for signs that Democrats are behind the charges.
Carroll, of 75 years, is a famous columnist of Elle magazine and is releasing, on 2 July, the book What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal (for what we need men? A modest proposal) in which CITES six incidents of sexual assault perpetrated by different men. One of them is the recently Les Moonves, the once-mighty CBS network's CEO.
This is the 16th prosecution of sexual assault made against the American President and the most serious. Carroll recalls, in New York, which Trump recognized in Bergdorf Goodman as "that girl who gives advice" and she recognized him as the real estate businessman. She was already well known and, in addition to the columns in Elle, wrote regularly for magazines such as Playboy and Esquire, besides having a talk show on a cable channel. Trump, who, in 1997, was married to Marla Maples, your second wife, said he was looking for a gift for a young girl and I would have asked for recommendations to Carroll.
The two ended up in the lingerie Department and Trump would have asked Carroll to try a bodysuitmodel. She refused and quipped, "why don't you try?". But Trump would have become violent when they came to the booth. That's when Carroll describes the rape, inside the cabin. There were no cameras to record what was going on in the area.
But e. Jean Carroll reported the episode then the two friends and both confirmed the version for New Yorkmagazine. Why wait so many years to reveal a rape? The writer tells the magazine that he feared the public humiliation, the possible death threats and "be dragged through the mud".
In an interview with the MSNBC cable network, on Friday, 21, night, Carroll recalled the alleged rape in detail. She said she felt guilty for having accompanied Trump until proof cabins. And stated also that wouldn't render the President out of respect for less fortunate women who suffer sexual assaults and not have features like her. Ex-federal prosecutors interviewed by MSNBC said it is a classic case of rape in the first degree. And highlighted the fact that Carroll kept, without washing, the clothes he was wearing that day and that only donned again for the photo of the cover of New York magazine.
