Warren sets the tone for the 1st Democrat debate, but unlucky Castro steals the scene

Elizabeth Warren was the only one among the pre-candidates on the first night of the Democratic debate , with double-digit approval. In addition, she has been known for detailed policy plans ranging from relief to university student debt to bankruptcy of Silicon Valley, like Facebook and Google. But Warren faced the insurgency of an unlucky candidate, Julián Castro, a former mayor of San Antonio, Texas.
A curiosity of the first Democrat debate of the season - 10 pre-candidates on Wednesday and a further 10 on Thursday - was the unwillingness of Warren's opponents to attack the rising Massachusetts senator in polls.
The name Donald Trump did not figure prominently in the debate, but his policies, yes. Polls show that Democratic voters do not want to know about the president, but rather about legislative plans for health, immigration, education, and economy insurance.
The great dilemma of the Democrats is to choose the candidate capable of defeating Trump as they try to draw back the 6 million voters who voted for Barack Obam in 2012 and Trump in 2016.
The pressure of the progressive wing of the Democratic Party was evident. Two underdogs, such as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and former San Antonio Texas Mayor Julián Castro stood out for more audacious proposals on immigration and had a positive reaction from the audience in Miami.
The second debate with 10 candidates includes the poll favorite, former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders, and California Senator Kamala Harris.
