New device promises to unite all streaming services
Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go… Nowadays, it's very common for you to subscribe to one or more of these streaming services. But let's combine: there are so many options (and in many applications) that the experience reminds you to switch cable channels.
This week, at CES, one of the world's leading technology fairs, a small device (which looks more like a tablet) seems to have emerged to solve this problem. It's Dabby, which promises to unify the content of streaming platforms - and almost the entire internet - and put it on your TV.
Okay, but what is the difference of this device to a Smart TV? Dabby does not work with separate applications. Your system consists of a unified search engine that finds the desired content regardless of its origin - according to the official website. product , Dabby can "show any content as long as it is online and legalized."
