London, United Kingdom — Queen Elizabeth II announced on Monday 13/1, that she woke up with the rest of the British royal familyduring a crisis meeting, a "transition period" for grandson Harry and wife Meghan to abandon their royal duties as they wish.
"While we had preferred them to remain full-time members of the royal family, we respect and understand their desire to live a more independent life, so we agreed a transitional period" in which they will reside between Canada and the United Kingdom, the monarch in a statement.
