After meeting with the rest of the British royal family, Queen agreed to the wish of grandson Harry and wife Meghan to abandon their royal duties as they wish



London, United Kingdom — Queen Elizabeth II announced on Monday 13/1, that she woke up with the rest of the British royal familyduring a crisis meeting, a "transition period" for grandson Harry and wife Meghan to abandon their royal duties as they wish.

"While we had preferred them to remain full-time members of the royal family, we respect and understand their desire to live a more independent life, so we agreed a transitional period" in which they will reside between Canada and the United Kingdom, the monarch in a statement.
