First coronavirus contamination case confirmed in Brazil

The patient is a 61-year-old man, resident in São Paulo , who recently returned from Italy .

According to the Ministry of Health , he is well and is treated at home, until the symptoms disappear.

Thirty family members who had contact with the patient and passengers on the plane are also being monitored.

The São Paulo government announced the creation of an emergency operations center, which will operate 24 hours a day , to monitor coronavirus records across the state.
