Who is winning the race for the Democratic nomination in the USA?
Eight names compete in the fierce race that will decide who will be Donald Trump's opponent in the elections for President of the United States , scheduled for November 2020. With a war between the moderate wing and the left most of the legend, the Democratic Party seeks the best choice to remove the current president of the White House.
For a competitor to be formally announced as a presidential candidate, at the July Democratic convention, he or she needs to go through the previews in the 50 American states and be able to enlist a minimum of 1,991 national delegates, out of a total of 3,979 that are distributed according to results of each preview.
The sharing of these representatives among the candidates, however, varies from state to state: in some the most voted candidate takes all the delegates, while in others the representatives are distributed proportionally, according to the number of votes.
