Coronavirus: Largest temporary hospital in Wuhan expected to close this month

The largest hospital temporarily maintained to treat patients for the new coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) in the city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the epidemic in China , is expected to close its activities by the end of this month due to falling demand, said the director of the institution, Zhang Junjian, Monday, 2.
The Wuhan Living Room Temporary Hospital, as the place is known , is expected to remain in operation "until the last ten days of March," Zhang told the American news agency Associated Press. "Fewer patients are being admitted, and the number of those being discharged has gradually increased," explained the doctor.
The facility is the largest of 16 temporary hospitals set up in gymnasiums and other buildings in Wuhan to combat the outbreak of the new coronavirus, which was first reported in the city in late December. Since last week, China has registered fewer cases of contamination than in previous periods. The epidemic is spreading more rapidly now in the rest of the world. So far, there are records of contamination cases in 69 countries.
