The last survivor of the Titanic



On March 31, 2009, died Elizabeth Gladys Dean, to 97 years.

 She was the last survivor of the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

 The liner sank on its maiden voyage on the night of April 14, 1912 Elizabeth, who had the nickname Milvina, traveled in steerage with her parents and brother two years.

 She was a baby of 10 weeks.

 His family wanted to open a tobacco shop in the United States.

 Soon after the ship hit the iceberg, the father was able to take the family cabin and put them in a lifeboat.

 He was the only one who survived the disaster. 

1517 other people died in the wreck, most were third-class passengers, who had only 24.5% of survivors (in the first, were 60.5%).
