It was her first interview since she filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the publisher American Media Inc. (AMI) whose boss, David Pecker, is a personal friend of Trump. She claims that the company paid her $ 150,000 in 2016 to remain silent about the alleged novel.
She claims to have been threatened by AMI - after she spoke to the New Yorkermagazine   last month - that "any new revelation would break the contract" and could "cause considerable monetary damages."
Karen told CNN that she is speaking out publicly because "I want to share my story because everyone is talking about her."
