Trump attacks Amazon again

For the second time in three days, President Donald Trump made harsh criticism of Amazon, the group of the world's richest man, Jeff Bezos, on Saturday for his tax practices and his use of US postal mail.
"As we talked about it, it was reported that the US Post Office loses $ 1.50 on average for each package delivered by Amazon - that's millions of dollars," Trump wrote in his first Twitter message on Saturday.
The president said that the New York Times reported that "the size of the group's lobby team has skyrocketed."
He then attacked The Washington Post, also owned by Bezos, saying in another tweet that these so-called Amazon pressure groups "do not include the Fake Washington Post, which acts as a lobbyist and should REGISTER as such."
"If the Courier 'raised its prices for the packages, Amazon's delivery costs would increase by $ 2.6 billion." This post office scam should stop, Amazon must pay the actual costs (and taxes) now! " , concludes the president.
The Washington Post responded quickly to these allegations in an online story informing about these tweets: "The Post operates independently from Amazon, although this vehicle is owned by Jeffrey P. Bezos, the founder and head of Amazon."
On Thursday, Trump had already made a public appearance on this issue in a tweet, compared to the few taxes that, in his opinion, paid Amazon in the United States. The day before, rumors about his willingness to put an end to Amazon's power drove the price of its shares in the financial market.
Although the anti-hatred of the American president by the founder of Amazon is well known, the case was re-released on Wednesday by an article on the Axios site that indicated the US president's "obsession" with Amazon and his desire to attack the group through antitrust laws .
