Trump posts on Twitter false compliment of Ronald Reagan to him

US President Donald Trump shared Twitter on Monday with a tribute to him falsely attributed to former President Ronald Reagan.
The post, which has already been taken off the air, features an old photo showing a handshake between Trump and Reagan, with the phrase in quotation marks: "For my life, and I will never know how to explain it, when I met that young man, I felt that I was shaking hands with a president, Ronald Reagan in meeting with Donald Trump. "
Trump shared the meme and wrote the comment: "Cute!". According to the American press, the original posting is 2017, from an account called @reaganbattalion, which has the same name as a larger, verified account called @ReaganBattalion.
The profile was inactivated by Twitter after Trump's remail.
In February of this year, PoliFact's fact-checking site confirmed the authenticity of the photo, dated 1987, but found with a Reagan foundation official that the phrase is false.
